Late last year I covered a reef trip for a Japanese Family visiting Far North Queensland. It was a great day out on the reef and they were great people to hang out for the day. We visited Michaelmas Cay and Green Island off Cairns.
To get onto Michaelmas Cay, I had a 50m swim from the boat with all my camera gear in plastic bags over my head. Let me tell you, it's hard work swimming with about 3 kilos of gear above your head. If it were, say a brick, that was not worth thousands of dollars, I might not have made it.
